This ally friendly design is a visual representation of survival!

The raised fist emerging from the land symbolises the strength, resilience, and survival of First Nations peoples, with roots deeply embedded like those of an ancient tree—representing the enduring connection between Culture and Country.

At the centre is a bleeding heart, representing the beating heart of Country. It also acknowledges the bloodshed, loss, and suffering our people have endured over the years, while honouring the strength, resilience, and survival that continue to carry us forward.

The fractured border represents breaking free from generations of oppression, while honouring the strength and resilience that have carried our people forward today.

The word ALWAYS is a reflection of truth: Always was. Always will be. With the Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander flag also printed on the back.
